Sunshine Primary Health COVID-19 Policy

(Reviewed September 18th 2023)

After more than 3 and a half years since the Victorian Government declared a state of emergency, the pandemic has finally come to an end. In line with State regulations, our clinic advises:

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case, it is recommended that you rest and recover at home and test regularly (RAT). It is strongly recommended you wear a mask if leaving your home. Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.

If you have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, it is recommended that you isolate for at least 5 days  to rest and recover at home and test regularly. It is strongly recommended you wear a mask if leaving your home. However, if you work in or intend to visit a vulnerable setting (i.e., hospital, aged care facility, disability services, healthcare clinic) isolate for a minimum of 5 days. On day 6 or 7, if you still have symptoms, even mild, it is recommended you isolate until symptoms dissipate.
